2025 in the Haven

Imagine having access to professional coaching - leadership and management support - for the entire year. That's what the Healthcare Leaders Haven is designed to deliver. After more than 20 years in healthcare leadership and management roles, I'm passionate about supporting people in these careers to thrive, and about the collective positive impact we can have for our healthcare services and our communities.

Healthcare leadership careers should have transformational benefits for patients, staff and communities, and they should also feel enjoyable, energising and sustainable for the long term.

Some of the topics we'll be discussing in 2025:

  • Evidence-based leadership

  • Taming the whirlwind

  • Improving business systems and processes

  • Leading teams, performance management & difficult conversations

  • Building organisational culture

  • Influencing and communication

  • Team wellbeing, including yours!

  • Cognitive flexibility and diversity

  • Values and courage

A feature of the Haven is that we want to co-create and prioritise topics of value to our members, so we're seeking input into the 2025 and 2026 programs. Tell us your topic today!

We'll have live, interactive interviews with healthcare leaders, managers and innovators from many backgrounds to share their experience and answer your questions. And we'll be consistently active on the forum, striving to deliver whatever you need most.

As I've provided one-to-one coaching and mentoring for the last decade, I'm struck by how often other leaders have the insights to help us, if we can only find the time and place to connect. This is why we encourage everyone in the haven to share their experiences, challenges, and wins. Additional to the support we provide, you can create personal relationships, private message, and sub-groups or topics of interest.

You can also privately message the forum coaches, if you need some confidential support.

I'm excited to see what we can achieve together! Thanks for visiting, and I hope to see you soon.
